| 钉螺属 Oncomelania 软体动物门中腹足目盖螺科的一属。个体中等大小。外形多呈长圆锥形。有6～9个螺层，壳顶尖，螺旋部高。壳面光滑或有纵肋；壳口卵圆形，厣为角质，黄褐色。主要分布于中国长江流域和长江以南13个省市。日本、菲律宾、印度尼西亚也有分布。钉螺栖息于江河、湖泊、沟渠、池塘、稻田内或沿岸草丛中，幼螺喜栖息于水内，成螺喜栖息于潮湿地带的草丛中。钉螺属包括小钉螺和湖北钉螺两种。中国广西宾阳、缅甸都曾发现该属第四纪更新世的化石种。钉螺是日本血吸虫的唯一中间宿主，也是恰乐村肺吸虫和福建肺吸虫的中间宿主。 |
