Using the data of the cores, thin sections, granulometric analysis and well loggings, studying in details the features about the colors of the mudstone, the texture of the rock, sedimentary structures, sedimentary rhythm and the vertical sedimentary sequences, we conclude that the main facies of Fuyu formation are lake facies and shallow water lake delta facies in Toutai area.
