性质:无损检测的一种。其工作原理是利用X射线具有强烈穿透物质(特别是金属层体)的特性,通过其照射并在易感光的胶片上成像来判断被测物体是否存在缺陷。由于金属母体与存在其中的缺陷(如夹渣、空穴等)对X射线的吸收能力不同,使感光胶片上成像的黑白度也不相同,从而直接检测出被测物体内是否存在缺陷。能很有效地发现体积形的缺陷,如气孔、夹渣、未焊透、裂纹等多种间题。在工作各部门的机械制造加工领域中有着广泛的应用。
