性质:结晶。熔点150-151℃。溶于苯、乙醚、乙醇。

制备方法:由苯酐经弗-克反应而得:将氯苯及无水三氯化铝加入反应锅,慢慢加入苯酐。加毕,在75-80℃下保温2.5h,冷却,反应液放入盐酸冰水中分解,静置分层。氯苯层用5%氢氧化钠溶液萃取3次,合并萃取液,用盐酸调节至pH为2-3,过滤,干燥,得CBB。

用途:医药、染料的中间体,用于生产氯噻酮、2-氯蒽醌等。
