These days with there being the gap in the precision and the capability of numerical control machine between our country with international advance level, this paper puts forward the projet of multiple axes rotary spindle head structure on the foundation of setting up direct drive technology (zero drive), in order to satisfy needs of exceed high speed cutting and exceed precision machining.

This article introduces the procedures of the development and design for TH5945 vertical boring and milling Processing center, and primarily expounds the selection of the drive system of lathe service, the computation and design of cutter store, and the significance of the application of key technology.
