性质描述: 白色蜡状固体。熔点28.20℃,沸点259℃,相对密度0.8015(20、4℃),折射率1.4421。溶于乙醇;乙醚;苯;氯仿和四氯化碳,难溶于水。

生产方法: 以月桂酸为原料在催化剂硅胶存在下通入氨气反应,生成物经水洗;干燥;减压精馏得月桂腈。将月桂腈在活性镍催化下加氢,即还原得十二胺。把月桂腈加入高压釜中,再加适量活性镍,通氮置换室内空气。在搅拌下加热至80℃,反复充氢直至不再吸收为止,保温反应3h。冷却,将所得粗品进行减压蒸馏,即得十二胺。

用途: 有机合成中间体,用于纺织及橡胶等助剂生产。也可用以制取矿石浮选剂;十二烷基季胺盐;杀菌剂;杀虫剂;乳化剂;洗涤剂和防治皮肤灼伤养津抗菌的消毒特效剂等。
