In this thesis, a great deal of work is reviewed including mechanism of polymer microcosmic displacement oil, it is shown that all thought it is true that viscoelastic polymer can enhance the mechanism displacement efficiencies at present, but still haven’t the study that only thinking about the elasticity function of HPAM.

Viscoelastic flow and microscopic displacement mechanism of polymer solution in reservoir pores;

Twenty six samples from Chang 82 reservoir in wellblock Zhuang-19 of Xifeng oilfield are tested by means of sandstone micro-model for water-oil displacement experiment for the collection of the parameters of their permeability,oil saturation before displacement,remaining oil saturation and displacement efficiency under the different waterflood time and pressure.
