Influence of rare earth oxide on the twice crystallizing of mullite in high-alumina refractory;

Effects of types of alumina materials and the amount of feldspar on crystalline shape of secondary mullite in high-strength aluminous electric porcelain have been discussed in this paper.

Effects of different types alumina powders and amount of active alumina added on andalusite decomposition,primary mullitization and secondary mullitization were studied by analyzing XRD data.

Temperature and soaking time on mullitization of andalusite were studied by analyzing the XRD data.

The current status and progress in the preparation of mullite precursor powders by chemicalmethods and the mullitization mechanism at low temperatures are reviewed.

In order to content these conditions mullite-silicon carbide bricks and mullite bricks are used in 6#、7# CDQ system in coking plant of Bengang,and it has significantly improved lining working life.
