    输电与配电线路工程的总称。输电线路多采用35千伏及以上电压 ,配电工程采用10千伏及以下电压。其中1千伏及以上称高压配电线路 ,1千伏以下称低压配电线路。输电线路和高压配电线路一般采用三相三线制,低压配电线路采用三相四线制或单相二线制。外线工程目前多为架空线路,在大城市中心区、旅游区宜用地下电缆配线。外线工程受地形、地质条件影响很大,因此选择合理路径十分重要。
