【印度初级农业信用社】印度的基层农业信用合作金融组织。根据19(科年印度农业信贷合作社法案，在乡村建立初级农业信用社，最小的社由ro人组成，不分种族、宗教和经济状况，每个村民都可以参加，每个社员都有一票权。它与社员不仅有货币资金往来，还为社员提供各种服务，包括生产资料供应，安排剩余农产品销售等。资产来源是社员购买股票和社内外的存款，不足部分由上一级信贷机构弥补。它直接向社员提供贷款，期限一般为短期和中期。年利率约为6%左右。合作社的收人不作为红利分配，而是搞一些农村福利，如打井、建立校舍等。政府给合作社免除所得税的优惠待遇，成立这类信用社必须向政府登记注册。
