性质: 是核燃料循环的一种。核燃料的利用是在采用全陶瓷燃料元件,以石墨作慢化剂,以惰性气体作冷却剂的高温气冷堆内进行的。其特点是安全,可以作为一种热源。可用于热电联供、进行煤的气化或天然气的蒸汽重整。当高温气冷堆氦气出口温度提高到950℃时,其工艺热是天然气的蒸汽重整和煤的气化的理想热源。采用低加浓铀燃料时,一般不作后处理。采用高加浓铀和钍时,需后处理。这种核燃料循环的后端过程还未在工业上实现。
