性质:生产稀硝酸方法之一。系指氧化、吸收全过程均在常压下进行。氨和空气经过滤后,混合。混合气中氨浓度为10%~12%(体积),在氨氧化炉中铂网催化剂作用下,反应生成一氧化氮,经废热回收,冷却,氧化,在吸收塔中用水吸收氮氧化物,制得约50%稀硝酸。特点是设备结构简单。氨氧化率较高(97%),但酸吸收率仅92%,排放尾气污染环境,必须予以回收处理。
