The inadaptability of spherical media and stick media in fine grinding process of tin ore is first analyzed in this paper.
分析了在锡矿石的细磨过程中球形介质、棒形介质的不适应性,提出了短柱形介质在细磨中的优势,并进一步对双球面与双平面短柱形介质进行对比磨碎试验研究,得出了双平面短柱形介质具有较好的磨碎作用,不仅能减轻锡矿石的过粉碎,解决磨不细与过粉碎之间的矛盾,还能提高合格粒级的利用系数。

【矿物形态】
锡石(《尔雅》) 正方晶系，晶体常呈双锥形或双锥与四方柱之聚形，或板状；且有膝状双晶出现，但通常以散布状细粒或不规则粒状出现。颜色为褐色或黑色，有时也有红、灰、白等色。条痕为白色或浅棕色。金刚光泽或半金属光泽，断口面上为树脂光泽，不透明。解理不完。断口呈半贝壳状，或参差状。硬度6～7。比重6.8～7.1。主要产于气成热液矿床。
