    有机磷杀虫剂品种之一。1952年由联邦德国推广。结构式为:
     !!!D0810_1 ,纯品为白色结晶粉末,25℃时在水中溶解度为15.4克/毫升,在弱酸性介质中较稳定,但放置过久也会水解。pH大于5.5时会逐渐转化成敌敌畏,并随着碱性的增强、温度的升高而转化速度加快。它是胃毒剂,触杀作用较弱,无熏蒸和内吸作用 。对鳞翅目、双翅目、鞘翅目害虫有良好的防治效果。在农业上主要用于防治许多作物上的多种咀嚼口器害虫。亩用有效成分40~100克。中国在六六六停产后,用敌百虫代替六六六生产了1.5%甲基对硫磷与3%敌百虫低毒性混合粉(简称甲敌粉),防治稻虫和其他害虫 。在高等动物体内,敌百虫原体及其水解产物能迅速地自尿中排出。也可用于防治家畜体内、外寄生虫。
