赣江 中国长江中游主要支流之一,江西省最大河流。东源贡水为正源,出武夷山黄竹岭,由绵水和湘水汇合而成。西源章水出大庾岭。章、贡两水在赣州市汇合后始称赣江。曲折北流,经吉安市、樟树市、丰城市到南昌市,分四条支流注入鄱阳湖。全长991千米,其中干流长751千米,流域面积8.35万平方千米。赣州以上为上游,山地纵横,支流众多,主要有湘水、濂江、梅江、平江、桃江、上犹江等,分别汇入章水和贡水。赣州至新干为中游,由于河流切割遂犹山地,多峡谷和险滩急流;万安以下,河流进入吉泰盆地,河面渐宽,水势和缓,东西两岸有孤江、遂川江、蜀水、禾水、泷水等较大支流汇入,水量大增;吉水到新干段,切穿武功山余脉,形成一较长的峡谷带。新干以下为下游,山势渐退,江面逐渐开阔,水流平缓。有袁水和绵河汇入。流域气候温和,雨量充足,年均降水量1400~1800毫米。多年平均年径流量687亿立方米。水能蕴藏量360万千瓦。干流上可常年通行100~300吨的轮驳船队和客船。 |
