性质:油脂碱炼分出的残渣。其主要成分是成为钠皂形式的脂肪酸和中性油脂。两者之比平均约为1:2。水分含量45%~50%。油脚中还有很多毛油中的杂质。色泽很深,并有恶臭;要经过加碱煮沸,充分皂化,再经多次盐析、洗涤和碱析,最后用次氯酸钠脱色后,方可用于低档肥皂的制造。较好的利用方式是作为脂肪酸的原料。一般要集中到专门的工厂去加工。为了减少运输量,要把油脚先用稀硫酸处理,可得到脂肪酸和中性油脂总含量为95%的物料,称为酸化油脚。再经水解和蒸馏可得到质量良好的脂肪酸产品。
