2.对环境的影响:
异丙威对人畜中等毒性。大鼠急性经口毒LD50为403～485mg/kg，小鼠487～512mg/kg。雄大鼠急性经皮毒性LD50>500mg/kg。对兔眼睛和皮肤刺激性极小。无致癌、致畸、致突变作用。对鱼毒性较低，对蜜蜂有害。
异丙威有较强的触杀作用，并有一定的渗透和传导活性，且速效性强。该药剂主要用于水稻防治水稻飞虱和叶蝉，并能兼冶蓟马。
异丙威不能与碱性药剂混用;不可与敌稗同时使用，须间隔10天以上。该药剂对芋有药害，不得使用。
