【植物形态】
薄叶棘豆 多年生草本。主根极粗壮，圆柱形。茎极短。单数羽状复叶，长6～10厘米，叶轴细弱，密生长柔毛；小叶7～13，对生，线形，长1.3～2.5厘米，宽1～2毫米，被长柔毛；托叶小，披针形，与叶柄连合。花2～5朵排列成近头状的总状花序；花萼筒状，萼齿条形；花冠紫红色、紫色或红色。荚果近卵圆形，密生短柔毛。 生于草原、向阳山地。分布河北、山西、内蒙古和东北。
【采集】
夏、秋季采挖鲜根，洗净。
【功用主治】
清热解毒。治秃疮，瘰疬。
【用法与用量】
外用：捣敷。
