This paper analyzes and studies fatigue strength of weld structure with rib,introduces influence by rib to fatigue strength of weld structure and suggests measures to meliorate fatigue strength of weld structure with rib.

The expression way acquiesced in by rib part in SolidWorks project drawings doesn t fit Chinese standards of drawings.

For meeting the design demand of sufficient capacity to resist moment and dissipate energy,three new reinforced connections,through adding rib,adding side-plate,adding cover-plate between shear links and column,are proposed.

Based on a series of computations,the distributions of displacement and equivalent stress under the working conditions are analyzed,as well as the influence of the number of side plate floors on stress distribution.
