补充资料：中国有色金属工业总公司矿产地质研究院
1955年创建于北京，现址广西桂林。其主要任务是研究金属矿产的地质找矿勘探理论、方法和技术手段。该院原为重工业部地质局矿物检验所，1958年定名为冶金工业部地质研究所，1984年划归中国有色金属工业总公司，更名为矿产地质研究院，为中国有色金属工业矿产地质研究中心、技术开发中心和测试中心。现有10个研究室及相应的实验装备和辅助设施。该院先后进行过铁、铜、铝、铅、锌、锡、铬、钨、镍及贵、稀有金属等20多种矿产的矿床类型、成矿规律与找矿方向的研究。围绕金属矿床找矿勘探，开展地球物理、地球化学、成矿实验、矿物包体及遥感地质等多方面研究工作。在钻探技术方面，为中国金属探矿技术的发展，特别是为人造金刚石钻探技术的开拓，发挥了重要作用。该院拥有一支经验丰富、装备完善的岩矿鉴定和化验技术力量，并承担着国家有关标准分析方法的制定和地球化学标准样品制备任务。
该院曾长期承担《地质与勘探》杂志的编辑出版任务，学术刊物有该院学报。
