| 阿基米德原理 Archimedes principle 流体静力学的重要原理。因古希腊科学家阿基米德首先提出而得名。它指出，浸入静止流体（可以是液体，也可以是气体）中的物体，其所受到的流体浮力，等于物体所排开流体的质量，方向与重力相反而铅垂向上，作用线通过所排开流体的形心。部分浸入液体而浮在液面上的浮体，其所受的浮力同样可按阿基米德原理计算，其所排开的液体体积应是液面以下物体浸没部分的体积。实际上，根据流体静力学的平衡方程，可导出阿基米德原理。船舶、气球、飞艇等，都是靠浮力支持的。液体比重计也是根据阿基米德原理设计的，当一定重量的比重计插入液体时，测量所排开的液体体积（对应于浸没高度），即可求得液体比重。阿基米德原理在造船和海洋工程的浮体平衡方面有重要应用。 |
