1、手足浮肿。用桐叶煮汁浸泡，同时饮汁少许。汁中加小豆更好。 2、痈疽发背（大如盘，臭腐不可近）。用桐叶在醋中蒸过贴患处。退热止痛。逐渐生肉收口，极效 3、头发脱落。用桐叶一把、麻子仁三升，加淘米水煮开五、六次，去渣，每日洗头部，则发渐长。4、 4、跌打损伤。用桐树皮（去青留白），醋炒，捣烂敷涂。 5、眼睛发花，眼前似有禽虫飞走。用桐花、酸枣仁、元肯粉、羌活各一两，共研为末，每服二钱，水煎，连滓服下。一天服三次。
