圆形膜状的弹性敏感元件。当膜片的两面受到不同的压力（或力）的作用时，膜片向压力低的一面应变移动，使其中心产生与压力差成一定关系的位移。膜片的形式主要有平膜片、垂链式膜片和波纹膜片三种。平膜片又可按周边是否固定支撑、中心是否开孔以及膜片区域受力分布状况的不同等分为多种形式，其中最常用的是由周边固定的等截面圆形薄板构成的平膜片。垂链式膜片由靠近边缘处开槽的圆板构成，其弹性应变主要发生在边缘环形槽处，常用这种膜片压缩应变管或柱来达到测压目的。垂链式膜片的硬中心部分在受压移动时接近平移，因此用于电容式传感器或压电式传感器效果较好。波纹膜片压有环状同心波纹。为了增加膜片中心的位移可把两个膜片焊在一起制成膜盒或进一步把数个膜盒串接成膜盒组。
