【来源】
为红豆杉科植物南方红豆杉的种子。
【植物形态】
南方红豆杉，又名：美丽红豆杉。 常绿乔木，高10～25米。树皮赤褐色。叶螺旋状着生，排成2列，钱形，镰刀状弯曲，长2～4厘米，宽3～4.5毫米，先端渐尖或急尖，叶缘通常不反曲，绿色边带较宽，上面中脉隆起，下面有两条黄绿色气孔带。花单性，雌雄异株，生于二年枝上叶腋；雄花圆形，具鳞状苞片，雄蕊4～8，药3～8室；雌花单生于短枝上，基部为相对的鳞片所包围。种子宽卵形，略扁，先端具2棱线，生于红色肉质的杯状假种皮中，种脐椭圆形。花期4～5月。果期11月。 生山地。分布浙江、福建、台湾、江西、安徽、陕西、四川、云南、贵州、广西、广东等地。
