standard error
标准误差(standard error)描述样本均值对总体期望值的离散程度的统计量，亦称“标准误”，用SE:表示。标准误差是指样本平均数与总体平均数之间的误差。即随机抽样误差分布的标准差。在推论统计中，由于抽样的随机性，样本平均数厕(或至)与总体平均数夕之间总有差异存在。这个差异的大小是用标准误来衡量的。一般来讲，一个统计量的标准误乃是该统计量的样本分布的标准差。样本平均数的标准误差与总体标准差成正比，与样本的容量的平方根反比。其计算公式为: 雄命 式中。为总体标准差，N为样本的大小。标准误是具体描述样本平均数的抽样误差的。标准误愈大，表明抽样误差愈大，即是说样本平均数越不可靠;反之，标准误越小，表明样本误差愈小，也就是说，样本平均数越可靠。 (任旭明撰金志成审)
