黄麻 jute 椴树科黄麻属一年生草本韧皮纤维作物。又名络麻、绿麻、荚头麻。长果黄麻起源于中国;圆果黄麻原产印度、巴基斯坦。主产国孟加拉、印度和中国,次为巴西、尼泊尔、缅甸、泰国、柬埔寨、越南、印度尼西亚和澳大利亚。中国主产区为广东、浙江、台湾等省。黄麻属约有40个种。有栽培价值的是圆果黄麻和长果黄麻。黄麻主根入土深1米左右。茎高2~5米,粗1.5~2厘米,青、红或紫色。叶卵圆至披针形。聚伞花序,花黄色。蒴果。长果黄麻为圆筒形蒴果,长5~8厘米,种子墨绿或灰黑色。圆果黄麻为球形蒴果,有纵棱和疣状突起,种子褐色。黄麻系热带或亚热带的短日照作物。长果黄麻对日照反应更为敏感。南种北引种植,可延长营养生长期,提高纤维产量。黄麻适于20℃以上高温多湿气候,发芽最低温度13~14℃。喜土质肥沃、排水好的砂壤土。种子顶土力弱,应创造好播种出苗土壤环境。苗期生长慢,怕旱、涝,应勤中耕除草,排水防涝,早间苗、定苗。麻茎韧皮组织含初生纤维(来自原分生组织,束长、柔软、品质好)和次生纤维(由形成层分化、品质差)。合理密植可增加初生纤维比重,提高品质。植株半花半果时,即开花后半月时为工艺成熟收割期,收后沤麻脱胶清洗。用原株留种或现蕾时切梢扦插留种,蒴果变褐时收种。病虫害有炭疽病、根线虫病和小地老虎、黄麻夜蛾等。黄麻纤维白而有光泽,吸湿性好,散水快。供制麻袋、麻布、造纸、绳索、织地毯和窗帘。麻骨制活性炭、纤维板。
