用途 用于制彩色照片的成色剂;用作树脂、乳化剂、杀菌剂、表面活性剂的原料及纺织助剂。
毒性 本品属高级烷基胺，毒性比低级烷基胺小。根据长期喂养研究，在老鼠食物中喂0.0005的1-十八（烷）胺两年没有明显不利健康的后果，而以同样量喂狗十二个月则对胃肠系统粘液也无病理影响。本品对皮肤和粘膜有刺激性。勿与皮肤接触。防止设备泄漏，操作人员佩戴防护用具。
包装储运 用镀锌铁桶加盖密闭包装。贮运时应将桶口向上，远离火源和热源。
