采用蜡染技术生产的纯棉花布。蜡染，即涂蜡防染，中国古称"蜡缬",是一项具有悠久历史的印染技术,如今在中国布依、苗、瑶、仡佬等少数民族中仍很流行。把白棉布铺在画板上，用针画出纹样大体布局，再用特制的蜡刀浸沾熔融的蜡液，绘出图案。绘成后，把布浸在靛蓝染缸中浸染数次,使织物的无蜡部分染成蓝色,然后把织物沸煮，除去蜡质，晾干后就显出蓝底白花。花纹部分，由于蜡膜龟裂，染液浸透而产生精细别致的冰纹，别具风格。蜡防花布图案通常取材于花卉，由于各民族的生活习惯和爱好不同，民族风格和地区特色十分鲜明。蜡防花布除蓝底白花外，已发展到能染多种色泽，多用作衣裙、被面、背包等。在非洲流行的蜡防花布，套色较多，蜡纹精细，布的正反深浅一致。图案取材于贝壳、禽鱼和几何图案等，富有非洲民族特色。另有仿蜡防花布，全用机器印花，花纹中的冰纹也用机印，效果较差，但价格便宜。
