乳胶 latex 泛指聚合物微粒分散于水中形成的胶体乳液。又称胶乳。习惯上将橡胶微粒的水分散体称为胶乳,而将树脂微粒的水分散体称为乳液。以乳胶为原料制成的制品称乳胶制品,常见的如海绵、手套、玩具、胶管等。 乳胶可分为天然、合成和人造3类 。①天然乳胶是橡胶树割胶时流出的液体,呈乳白色,固含量为30%~40%,橡胶粒径平均为1.06微米。新鲜的天然乳胶含橡胶成分27%~41.3%(质量)、水44%~70%、蛋白质0.2%~4.5%、天然树脂2%~5%、糖类0.36%~4.2%、灰分0.4%。为防止天然乳胶因微生物、酶的作用而凝固,常加入氨和其他稳定剂。天然乳胶主要用于制作海绵制品、压出制品和浸渍制品。②合成乳胶一般通过乳液聚合制得,如聚丁二烯乳胶、丁苯乳胶等。为使固含量达到40%~70%,首先使橡胶微粒附聚成较大的颗粒,再采用与天然乳胶相似的方法浓缩。合成乳胶主要用于地毯、造纸、纺织、印刷、涂料及胶粘剂等工业部门。③人造乳胶是一种非乳液聚合的橡胶乳胶。向溶液聚合生成的胶体中加入水和表面活性剂,使橡胶微粒分散于水中,然后蒸除溶剂制得。如果橡胶不能充分溶解于溶剂中,可将生胶和胶料在含有乳化剂的水相存在的条件下,不断捏炼,直至形成稳定的橡胶水分散体。人造乳胶与合成乳胶的用途基本相同。 |
