性质:(一)以各种模塑方法可以成型的混配料。一般由基础树脂和各种添加剂(包括稳定剂、润滑剂、填料和增强材料,不时还根据要求加入增塑剂、交联剂、发泡剂、冲击改性剂、流动改性剂等以及着色剂)所组成。有粉状、粒状、片状、糊状、团状等形态。因所用树脂不同有热固性和热塑性之分。通常市售塑料原料均以此形式出售。可用于压塑、注塑、挤塑等工艺中。用于压塑中时命名为压塑料(compression molding compound)。呈粉状的称压塑粉(俗称胶木粉)。(二)在安装假牙前,预先将口腔内需安装部位的形状如实复制为阴模的材料,这一过程又称咬牙印。以前使用的是海藻酸钠,目前多用合成分子材料,如双组分室温硅化硅橡胶,使用前将两组分充分混合,置于托盘中,放入口腔,固化3~5min后取出即得阴模,操作简单,线收缩率小,尺寸重现性好,且易于脱模。
