何秋涛(1824~1862) 中国清代地理学家。福建光泽人。字愿船。自少年时代即喜好地理学,能历数府、厅、州、县名及其四境所至。道光二十四年(1844)进士,官刑部主事。咸丰间,擢升员外郎、懋勤殿行走。他长期关注北疆形势,始著《北徼汇编》6卷。后复详订图说,汇集蒙古、新疆、东北及早期中俄关系史料,起汉晋,迄道光,增为80卷,咸丰帝阅后赐名《朔方备乘》,学术价值甚高。又考订俞正燮《俄罗斯事辑》、魏源《海国图志》诸书讹误,辨证徐继畲《瀛环志略》疏失,用力甚勤。其友人张穆故世后,为之校订《蒙古游牧记》并付印。补辑《魏书·地理志》,功不可没。自著尚有《王会篇笺释》、《一镫精舍甲部稿》等。 |
