分子式C7H5N3O6,分子量227.11。俗称梯恩梯(TNT)。黄色单斜晶体。熔点80.1℃,密度(20/4℃)1.654g/cm3。是最重要的一种军用炸药,爆炸威力大。化学稳定性好,不与金属反应。不溶于水,可溶于乙醇和乙醚。单独使用也可与其它炸药混和使用,用作制染料和照相药品的原料。可由甲苯与浓硫酸和浓硝酸混和经硝化反应制得。
