This article has analyzed the reasons of the cracks on the H13 steel thicker mould produced during the quenching process, and pointed out that the proper heat treatment process is the key point to ensure the optimized obdurability and thermal fatigue resistance obtained, as well as the key point to ensure the quenching quality.
