The article discusses the necessity of application of circular economy concept in regional strategic environmental assessment,puts forward the outlines and basic principles on eco-industrial zones aiming at the existing problems in the economic and industrial structure and under the construction of principle of circular economy development by taking Beijing new city of Yizhuang as an example.
