【来源】
为菊科植物细脉斑鸠菊的藤茎及根。
【植物形态】
细脉斑坞菊 木质藤本，高约10～12米。细枝多，有微毛。茎外皮棕褐色。叶互生，椭圆状披针形，长3.5～8厘米，宽3～6厘米，先端渐尖，基部钝圆，通常全缘，上面有微毛；叶柄短，约5毫米，有微毛。头状花序，顶生或腋生，径约1厘米，聚伞花序式排列；苞片4列，披针形，长1～5毫米，外面的较短；花淡紫红色；两性，花冠管状，5裂。瘦果，冠毛多数。 生于山沟、溪边或疏林、灌丛中。分布广东。
【采集】
全年可采。洗净，切片、晒干。
【性味】
苦辛，微温，有毒。 ①广州部队《常用中草药手册》："苦，微温。" ②《海南岛常用中草药手册》："微苦辛，温。"
【功用主治】
祛风解表，舒筋活血。治感冒，疟疾，风湿痹痛，跌打损伤，喉痛，牙痛。 ①广州部队《常用中草药手册》："舒筋活络，祛风解表。治风湿痛，腰肌劳损，感冒发热，疟疾。" ②《海南岛常用中草药手册》："祛风利湿，祛瘀止痛。治风湿痹痛，跌打损伤，喉痛，痛经。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，3～5钱。外用：煎水洗；或含漱。
【宜忌】
广州部队《常用中草药手册》："孕妇忌服。"
【选方】
①治疟疾：过山龙四两，水煎服。(广州部队《常用中草药手册》) ②治牙痛：过山龙根，切片浸盐水内，每次含一片。 ③治结合膜炎：过山龙适量，煎水洗。 ④治跌打损伤：过山龙根适量，捣烂外敷。(②方以下出广州空军《常用中草药手册》) ⑤治皮炎：过山龙藤茎适量，煎水外洗。(《海南岛常用中草药手册》)
