fenxU0n分选(s eParation)对矿石中的矿物进行分离的过程，又称选别，是选矿工艺的主要作业，通常由粗选、精选和扫选组成。分选的目的是:(l)分离有用矿物与脉石，富集有用矿物;(2)分离共生的有用矿物，使其成为单独的精矿产品;(3)除去有害的杂质矿物，综合利用矿产资源。矿石经过分选，获得直接用于工业生产的最终商品精矿，如石灰石、石棉、石墨、高岭土、耐火粘土、滑石等，或者产出适于进一步进行冶炼加工或化学加工的精矿。矿物分离是根据矿物的物理性质和物理一化学性质，如硬度、脆性、粒度、形状、颜色、光泽、密度、摩擦系数、导磁性、导电性、润湿性、吸附能力和表面活性等的差异进行的。矿物的一些性质的差异，可以采用人工方法进行强化，例如:矿物的颜色和光泽的差别，经洗矿或在专门的照明下得到加强;一些矿物的导磁性可经磁化焙烧加以提高;矿物的表面润湿性和导电性等可以经过选矿药剂处理得以改变。 常用的分选方法有重选、浮选、磁选、电选、特殊选矿等习惯上称之为机械选矿或物理选矿的方法以及化学选矿方法。各选矿方法的分选依据及其处理物料的拉度范围如图所示。各种分选方法分选矿物往往可同时利用矿物的几种性质，在一个设备中或在系列顺序配置的设备中进行。如利用矿物的密度和表面润湿性的差异，在摇床(台浮)或溜槽(粒浮)上进行浮选，分离出粗粒硫化矿物与钨、锡矿物;还可以联合几种机械选矿方法，在系列顺序配置的设备中实现矿物分选，例如处理复合铁矿石采用的磁选一重选一浮选法、浮选一磁选法或磁选一重选一浮选一电选法;处理锰矿石采用的重选-磁选法和磁选一浮选法;处理稀有金属矿石采用的重选一浮选法等。在以机械选矿方法分选矿石不能得出合格精矿时，可以采用选一冶联合流程，如火法冶炼和浮选联合处理铜、镍混合精矿，即高冰镍浮选分离技术:将铜、镍混合精矿熔炼成高冰镍，经磨矿后进行浮选分离，获得铜精矿和镍精矿。节m 矿石粒度 分选方法及其处理物料的粒度范围示意图 (张宏福)
