长江合江-雷波段珍稀鱼类自然保护区
保护区位于四川省长江上游合江--雷波段的江域中，涉及到雷波、屏山、宜宾、南溪、江安、纳溪、泸州、泸县、合江等县、市、地理坐标为东经103°20’-06°28’，北纬27°50’-9°16’，总面积18052公顷。保护区始建于1996年，1997年经四川省人民政府批准，将原泸州市长江珍稀特有鱼类自然保护区和宜宾地区珍稀鱼类自然保护区合并，并定名为长江合江枣雷波段省级自然保护区，主要保护对象为达氏鲟、白鲟、胭脂鱼等长江上游珍稀鱼类及水域生态系统。
本区位于四川盆地南部、西南山地东部，保护区域属长江上游和金沙江下游江段，包括此段部分支流，全长约500公里，其流域面积约1.7万平方公里。区内河道曲折，上段河面较窄，水流湍急，有险滩和深潭，下段河面宽阔，水流较缓，滩沱交替，有许多边滩和沙洲，河面海拔209-360米，河流两岸为高山和丘陵，山地海拔600-1600米。长江是我国淡水渔业最发达地区，鱼类资源丰富，而上游的鱼类区系组成具有独特的鱼类区系特点，珍稀濒危种多，特有种多。保护区内共有鱼类153种，其中长江上游特有鱼类44种，列为国家重点保护的鱼类有达氏鲟、白鲟和胭脂鱼，并为白鲟、达氏鲟、铜鱼、圆口铜鱼、长吻诡等濒危物种及其它重要经济鱼类较集中的栖息、索饵和繁殖场所，在水生生物多样性的保护方面具有非常重要的价值。
