| 柠檬醛 citral 一种萜。分子式C10H16O。开链单萜中最重要的代表之一。存在于枫茅油和山苍子油中。天然柠檬醛是两种几何异构体组成的混合物。柠檬醛a（又称香叶醛）为无色油状液体，有柠檬香气；沸点229℃，密度0.8888克／厘米3（20℃）；在空气中易氧化变黄。柠檬醛b（又称橙花醛）为无色或淡黄色液体；沸点120℃（20毫米汞柱），密度0.8869克／厘米3（20℃）。两种异构体都溶于乙醇和乙醚。柠檬醛a用氨性氧化银氧化得香叶酸。柠檬醛可从精油中分出；也可从工业香叶醇（及橙花醇）用铜催化剂减压气相脱氢得到；也可从脱氢芳樟醇在钒催化剂作用下合成。柠檬醛可用于制造柑橘香味食品香料，因易氧化并聚合变色，只用于中性介质中；还用于合成异胡薄荷醇、羟基香茅醛和紫罗兰酮，紫罗兰酮是合成维生素A的原料。  |
