眼蝶,又叫褐蝶,属眼蝶科。
眼蝶科的蝴蝶主要栖息在欧洲和美国的森林边缘以及草原上。夏天的时候数量比较多一些。成年的眼蝶呈褐色或者灰色,它们褐色的翅膀上有明显的圆形标记,像是眼睛一样。这对假眼倒也可以吓跑那些想吃掉它们的鸟类。翼展长度大约有5~6厘米。幼虫的腹部有像尾巴一样小的驻京状附属肢体。
