ozone weapon 
    采用物理或化学方法改变敌方上空大气中的臭氧浓度,使其对有生目标造成危害的一种探索中的武器。其设计方案有两种:一是在敌方某一区域上空的臭氧中,投放能吸附臭氧的化学物质或通过高空核爆炸所生成能分解臭氧的化学物质,形成一个没有臭氧的洞口,使太阳的硬紫外线直照地面,危害人或生物的细胞组织,引起皮肤灼伤等病变,损伤敌方有生力量;二是增大敌方某一区域上空的臭氧浓度,使其超过人或生物所能承受的最大限度,造成人员中毒,引起胃痉挛、肺水肿等病变,重者导致死亡。该武器尚处于设想和试验阶段。
