一个神奇美丽的地方，行走其间让人有旷世桃源之感。位于梅里雪山背面的雨崩村四面群山簇拥，因其地理环境独特，所以人烟稀少，全村只有20几户人家，仅通过一条驿道与外界相通。雨崩村有上下村之分，上村可以通往攀登卡瓦格博的中日联合登山大本营，而下村通往雨崩神瀑，沿途可以看到古篆天书、五树同根的奇景。
交通：游完明永冰川后往南行到西当村，再从西当村骑马约5个小时可以到雨崩村。也可以从德钦县城乘班车直达西当，途中可观雪山，如果天色已晚，可在西当村以南的西当温泉（当地人称"热水塘"）住一宿，20元/人。第二天从温泉骑马到雨崩村，骑马的费用约140元。雨崩神瀑、古篆天书等景点距雨崩村还有8公里。
食宿：村民吃得很简单，酥油茶、粑粑、土豆就可以是一顿饭了。上雨崩村和下雨崩村者有村民接待站可供住宿，每晚20元。也可以选择中日联合登山大本营
提醒：
1、去西当村之前最好先预先订好马，以免到了那儿等时间。
2、大本营可以安排和冰湖一同游玩，湖水幽蓝。
