白云岩 dolomite 一种沉积碳酸岩。主要由白云石组成,常混入石英、长石、方解石和粘土矿物。呈灰白色,性脆,硬度小,用铁器易划出擦痕。遇稀盐酸缓慢起泡或不起泡,外貌与石灰岩很相似。按成因可分为原生白云岩、成岩白云岩和后生白云岩;按结构可分为结晶白云岩、残余异化粒子白云岩、碎屑白云岩、微晶白云岩等。白云岩含镁较高,风化后形成白色石粉。较石灰岩坚韧。在冶金工业中可作熔剂和耐火材料,在化学工业中可制造钙镁磷肥、粒状化肥等。此外,也用作陶瓷、玻璃配料和建筑石材。 |
