性质:无色针状晶体(由苯或甲醇重结晶)。熔点179~181℃。旋光度[α]D19(在丙酮中)。为菌类成分,具有螺旋结构。存在于青霉属霉菌类(Penicillium griseofulvum Dierckx)培养基中。以恰佩克培养基(Czapek’s medium)于30℃培养65~85天后,用氯仿萃取母液,将萃取物溶于苯中,经由氧化铝为吸附剂的色谱仪分离制取之。为抗生素的一种,用于治疗头癣、股癣、手足癣等。
