认识热炉法则

  热炉法则这个源自西方管理学家提出的惩罚原则,它的实际指导意义在于有人在工作中违反了规章制度,就象去碰触一个烧红的火炉,一定要让他受到%26ldquo;烫%26rdquo;的处罚。与奖赏之类的正面强化手段相反,而惩罚之类则属于反面强化手段,%26ldquo;热炉法则%26rdquo;指导我们%26ldquo;三性%26rdquo;,即即刻性、预先示警性、彻底贯穿性。我们需要应用这三个特性来完善对管理制度。

  即刻性:当某人要碰到火炉时,立即就会被烫,火炉对人,不分贵贱亲疏,我们的管理制度也应如此,不分职务高低,适用于任何人,一律平等;还有,违反制度的行为与处罚之间间隔时间过长,就不能收到好的罚戒、教育作用,因此,执行制度一定要坚决果断。

  预先示警性:火炉摆在那里,要让大家知道碰触则会被烫,这就需要我们的管理有一个健全的长效机制,只有立足于正反两面的引导,使人自觉地去行动,管理机制才能发挥其优越性。

彻底贯穿性:火炉对人绝对%26ldquo;说到做到%26rdquo;,不是吓唬人的。执行和落实惩罚制度虽然会使人痛苦一时,但绝对必要,如果我们在执行赏罚时优柔寡断、瞻前顾后,就会使制度成为摆设,失去其应有的作用。

  1、警告性原则:热炉外观火红,不用手去摸,也可知道炉子是热得足以灼伤人的。为让员工趋利避害,企业的领导者就要经常对下属进行规章制度的教育和宣传,以警告或劝戒员工不要触犯规章制度,说明罚款的种类和额度。如果有企业平常把规章制度藏在抽屉里,谁都不知道里面规定了啥内容,等到员工违规后,才拿出来作为罚款的依据。这样做,显然不能服众。
