| 崇明岛 中国第三大岛，也是中国最大的沙岛。位于上海市北部，长江的出口处。东西长约80千米，南北宽约10～15千米。面积1083平方千米。唐初以后由江中的沙洲逐渐演变发育而成。地面平均高度约3.3～4.2米。长江主流南北摆动，岛位置游移不定。长江主泓道集中在南港水道，岛南岸受到较强烈水流冲刷，已加固了堤岸，修建丁坝。岛东西端和北岸淤涨快，面积日益扩大。温和湿润、四季分明，河流纵横，土壤肥沃，农、牧、渔业发达。 |
