渠道 canal 具有自由水面的人工水道。渠道按用途可分为:灌溉渠道、引水发电的动力渠道、供水渠道、排水渠道和通航渠道等。在实际工程中,常是相互结合,一渠多用。渠道线路应避免通过滑坡、透水性强和土壤沉降量大的地段,并力求短直,挖方和填方基本平衡;通过山岭,可选用隧洞,遇山谷可用渡槽或倒虹吸管;尽量避免与道路、河流或其他渠道交叉,以减少交叉渠系建筑物。渠道横断面应满足设计流量和不冲不淤流速的要求。不冲不淤流速与土壤性质、水中悬浮泥沙的颗粒直径和水深有关。断面形状常用梯形,两侧边坡根据土质情况、开挖深度或填筑高度选定,在平坦地段以宽浅形断面较为有利,在深挖地段宜采用窄深形断面。为减小渠道的渗漏损失,需要在渠床表面加做三合土、混凝土、土工合成材料护面等防渗措施。
