性质:加入纸浆内的一些基本不溶于水的固体微粒。为了达到加填的目的,造纸填料应具备粒径细小均匀,较高的白度和较大的相对密度,化学性质稳定,不易与酸碱作用,不会发生氧化或还原作用,不溶解或不易溶解于水,有较大的遮盖率、折射率和散射系数,资源丰富,价格低廉等特点。填料一般为无机矿物性的,近年来也发展了有机合成填料。常用的有滑石粉、高岭土、二氧化钛、碳酸钙等。也有因特殊要求而加入特种填料的,如电导用纸以炭黑为填料,使具有导电性能等。
