性质:一类分布很广的硅酸盐类矿物。由通过共用氧连结在一起的硅氧四面体和铝氧四面体三维格架组成,三价铝取代四价硅产生的过剩负电荷由一价或二价的金属阳离子,通常为碱金属或碱土金属阳离子所平衡。现在已发现的有近40种,主要有方沸石、浊沸石、钙十字沸石、钠沸石、丝光沸石、片沸石、斜发沸石、菱沸石、八面沸石等。沸石具有吸附和离子变换功能,并且由于每种沸石有其特定的均一孔径(0.3~1nm),只能通过相应大小的分子。广泛用作催化剂或载体、干燥剂、饲料添加剂、土壤改良剂、污水净化剂、塑料和造纸填料、海水提钾等。并大量用于水泥生产。
