中国第三次国内革命战争时期出版的政治时事性周刊。1946年 9月 1日在上海创刊。前身为1945年11月至1946年4月在重庆出版的《客观》杂志。储安平主编。主要撰稿人有张东荪、潘光旦、胡先骕、傅雷、吴晗、钱端升、费孝通等。声称代表一般自由思想分子，对国内各政党不偏不袒。强调以民主、自由、进步、理性为原则。主要栏目有"专论""外论选译""观察通信""文艺""读者投书"等。对当时的政局、战局和经济、文化、社会生活等方面，进行广泛的评论。在国民党统治区的知识分子读者中有较大影响。出有华北、台湾航空版。最高发行量达10万份。1948年12月24日被国民党当局查禁。上海解放后,于1949年11月 1日复刊,改为半月刊。1950年5月16日停刊。共出6卷14期。
