绝经前期
正常自然绝经之前，往往有一段卵巢不规律排卵，血中雌激素水平波动的阶段，称为绝经前期。少数妇女直接从规律行经进入永久绝经，大多数先出现月经周期缩短或延长，不规律行经，经量渐少，或于短时闭经后阴道出血或长时间淋漓。部分人可有轻度潮热、出汗等症状。但自然行经一次又可暂时缓解。此期间仍偶有排卵及受孕可能，仍须避孕。绝经前期多为2～3年。当闭经持续一年时，认为就是绝经，而闭经一年后虽然可能又偶然行经一次，却是罕见的。
